Biography
Indranil Sircar advises Viridium AI on extending material intelligence across the full product lifecycle, from engineering through manufacturing to the supply chain.
He brings four decades of experience at the intersection of technology, industry and supply chain. Most recently he was Global CTO for Manufacturing & Mobility at Microsoft. There he guided executives at some of the world’s largest manufacturers on generative and agentic AI, robotics, digital twins, the digital thread and secure edge-to-cloud architecture.
His work has touched each stage of the lifecycle. In engineering, he worked with customers and partners on digital twins, simulation and physical AI, helping bring industrial copilots and digital-thread patterns into production. In manufacturing, he was part of Microsoft’s early IoT and AI programmes and helped develop connected-factory blueprints that contributed to today’s OT/IT convergence and Zero Trust adoption. In the supply chain, his early projects at HP included serving as Chief Architect of one of the first B2B marketplaces in high tech and helping modernise global supply chain and logistics systems. Across all three, he helped build partner ecosystems in which industrial technology providers complemented one another. Material intelligence will need the same approach, since no single company can deliver it alone.
Today he advises a select portfolio of founders, boards and executive teams on industrial AI strategy, operational resilience and responsible technology deployment.
Where he guides Viridium AI and its customers
Shaping an emerging category.
Indranil follows the trends in AI, industrial technology, partner ecosystems and regulation that are redefining how products are designed, built and sourced. He helps Viridium AI anticipate where the market is heading and position the platform ahead of it.
Connecting decisions across the lifecycle.
Indranil has worked across engineering, production and supply chain systems. He understands how a decision made early in a product’s life carries through to the plant and the supplier base. That keeps Viridium AI’s roadmap anchored to the questions manufacturers must answer about what their products are made of.
Moving from pilot to production.
He has seen what it takes to move AI across OT and IT with security and compliance designed in from the start. That perspective helps customers adopt the platform with confidence in regulated, high-stakes environments.
Turning insight into board-level decisions.
He has spent years helping senior leaders decide where AI belongs, how to fund it and how to prove it works. He helps Viridium AI customers connect material intelligence to the outcomes their leadership and boards care about.
